Yeap semester break now,

and oh boy.. SOOOO BORING AT HOME

Mom tried to find me a job but I dowan

Reason? Lazy...

and wanted to catch up on my reading..

Last weekend was a good one though,

dad came back for the weekend and took

an extra day off on Monday just

so that we can

Jalan jalan cari makan @ Penang..

Well I may be a PenangKia but in fact Im

a lousy one.

Reason 1: My Hokien Sark!@

Reason 2: Where to eat good food ar in Penang? Err I dono?

Except for a few la of course, Bayan Lepas Asam Laksa.. and and and..... Err

Ok enough bad stuff about me..

So guys and girls this will be my 1st attempt to intro you guys

food. And I think I do it quite well becoz I quite fussed with food..

Just before the trip I researched some places

for good food recommended by food critics

is that what u call it?

My first makan stop is a coffee shop

known as Sai Lam Coffee shop.

All the while my family have a craze

for ngau lam fan (beef noodles) and usually

we only get to taste it at Kluang, Johor or Seremban.

Before this, my parents did try to fd ngau lam fan

in Penang but all of them FAILED!@

Sai Lam coffee shop was the 1st who passed!

This coffee shop offers beef wan tan noodles

and also of couse the normal wan tan noodles...

The wan tans we orders as side dish was PErfEcto!

The wantans they offered isnt like those cheap wantans

offered by those normal shops with lil bit of fillings inside.

Apart from the wantan, the noodles was also very good.

Come to think of it, the noodles is very similiar to the wantan

noodles in 'Noodle House' at 3k.

The noodle was very jelly starchy like which gives

it very nice texture, just the way HENG HAO likes it!

The beef was also not overcooked

as some of you may know if beef is overcooked then

it gets hard to chew and taste like chicken breast meat yuck..

As you can see its a small coffee shop

and its located at the

Junction of Chulia and Carnavon Street

Eh how come the coconut like that d.. Spoiled coconut?

How come the water harden liao d.. Like Jelly?

EXACTLY! ITS COCONUT JELLY!

and guess what, ITS NATURAL!@

No JELLY powder tricks and all..!!

No preservatives!#%#@

Surprised?

Well I did.

The coconut water inside actually turned into Jelly like

texture after a few tricks. Not entirely became Jelly though..

you still can taste a lil bit of coconut water.. but 95% of it has become Jelly.

So whats the Science behind it?

These ppl actually heated the coconuts and then

cooled them down. Simple?

This fellow also thought of different ways of eating you tiao

1st one on the top is you tiao with sausage and mayonnaise

2nd one is tuna and mayonnaise

3rd one is chicken floss and mayonnaise

I tried the floss one and its GOOD!@

There's also kaya and butter

Peanut and butter

And Honey and butter

Where is this place? Don't worry haha

~Evening Quickie~

It's Sunday Evening! ARGH
Weekends endssss so fast..........

Now in the room alone... Haiz..
Hey guess what, I was actually searching materials
for Accountant in Buisness assignment!

Yea I did found a few stuff but all of them
are soooooo long. Some in pdf format have over 40++ pages!
Zzz damn lazy to read, just started to read the 1st one.
Now half way stop liao then decide to
write a quickie in BLOG XD.

This is my new pair of shoes!

This design came out during March
and just recently the sole for my old pair
of shoes came off. Then last week
I happen to be home for my dental appointment
and hell yeah I finally got the green light
to take off the irritating pieces of metals in my mouth!

So I went shopping at Sunway Carnival, New AEON Jusco and
Pacific Hypermarket.
1st destination was Sunway Carnival's Parkson,
and zzzz Parkson didn't have a decent sports department.
I remembered that time was 9.15pm already
coz was hungry... My family havent had dinner yet.

Then my dad say: Gia, we go Jusco.
Me and sis: @.@
I'm OK actually because the trip for
my shoe mar.. So worth the sacrifices =P

Then at Jusco, I went to the sports
department. And YEAH I saw THE pair
of shoes! I was chosing one with a considerably
good sole cuz I dowan this pair
to be like the last pair.

But aiyoooo, no discount. The promoter then tell me
got rebate mar, buy RM100 got RM10 rebate,
RM150 got RM30 rebate. Then I was so stupid..
I din knw the rebate can stack d, meaning if I buy RM300
can get RM60 rebate.

So I look at the shoes, there got NEW d label wor.. and RM300.
So I thought RM270 ar.. Don't think got chance liao..
So balik lo..

Next day Sunday, went for dental appointment at 8am
then came back main land 10am go for breakfast lo.

Then mom bring me go Pacific to look, let my dad at home rest
to drive later. PENANG to JOHOR fellows..
Of coz I got drive.. I drive from Taiping to Sg Buloh. Not bad la..

At pacific, went to Nike and Adidas shop, they
were next to each other. Adidas all nice ones so FREAKING expensive!
RM 500++!
Then go Nike look look,
pointed out a few pairs then to my surprise
my mom say the exact model of shoes I saw yesterday not bad.
The price tag at the shoes was also RM299 (RM300) la..

But the difference is that at this Nike shop
their colour different. Mine on top was silver.
But the one at the shop was grey.. and a blue colour
outline on the 'TICK'.
Wah damn happy, then I whisper to mom say Jusco d
colour nicer la...

Then straight away cabut to Jusco at BM.
I feel sorry to the promoter at the Nike shop, she was nice to
explain this and that on the shoe.
Then skali at Jusco, the salesperson
saw me and my mom again, then only
she say: Beli RM300 boleh dapat rebate RM60...

Zzzz should say earlier mar.....
My mom also terus say ok deal,
but have to buy 1 pair of socks la to make it
RM300 and above. Coz the shoe RM 299 =.=

HAPPY HAPPY!
Now my shoe currently in my room,
dare not put outside.. coz the main door sometime no lock d.
Takut ppl come in curi at the shoe rack.

stock was because Giant got sell chipsmore at RM 2.80.

The 'xiao long pao'
I LUV SO MUCH!

It's not normal xiao long pao,
this one is like dumplings becoz
the outer skin is actually like dim sum d skin.
Not the fluffy normal pao.
Then when u bite the pao,
the meat juices traped inside of
the dumpling skin pao will flow
out to your mouth.

YMMMMMM YAM YAM

But too bad la, makan at this shop damn
hurt wallet.
The 1st time I went with my aunt
and cousin sister, 3 person we ate RM87 if not mistaken.

Wahh I MUST STUDY HARD!
I must earn lots lots of $$
to makan good food!
Coz I wont get fat even if
I makan a lot. So good XD

This was actually quite sudden
as around 3pm only then I saw Chin Ying's 1pm msg
to come and celebrate bday..

But nevertheless glad that I'm part of it...
Quite come time didn't hang out
with my secondary friends le.. >.<

We went TGI Friday
because aiyo as you all knw mar..
Birthday occasions, TGI got free bday cake
and the waiters will also help us celebrate..
Why not leh? Haha

So we sat down,
round table,
ordered 3 sets of dishes,
err izit? or was it four?
Each set includes 1 appetizer
and 1 entree..
No main course o.O

AIYA... I didn't even get to
remember the name of the dishes..
Describe can liao la...

I remembered:

Fried Macaroni Cubes with cheese ( Top Photo left )..
Fried chicken nuggets which are long shaped ( Top Photo right )...
Dono what kinda sauce koay teow shaped spaghetti.. ( LOL XD)
Chicken with mashed potato and cheese..
Got soup also.. I think it's mushroom soup? Zz
French Toast with I forgot what's inside...

Yea yea TERRIBLE memory I have....
